“ I ordered a whole filet mignon for Christmas dinner as a roast. I have a bad back and walk with a cane. Standing for long periods is a real problem for me. I was nervous when I arrived to pick up my order because the parking lot was extremely crowded. I walked to the butcher at the back of the store and within minutes a gentleman who appeared to be the owner, got my order and walked me to the register. He told the girl behind the counter to take care of me. After ringing me up, she carried my meat to my car! The quality of the meat was phenomenal. You could cut the roast with a fork. Everyone raved about it. I raved about the way I was treated at the store as well. I definitely will be back for all my meats! ”
“ I am giving five complete stars for the italian 6ft & 3 ft turkey & RB foot hoggie (I'm from Philadelphia so thats what I call it). Committing to drive south 30 minutes on Fourth of July weekend was slightly hellish for me but once I arrived it was completely worth it. (The directions app took me a bunch of different back ways and it actually only took me 30 minutes from bay head. The vibe at Luigis deli is upbeat and friendly. Everyone seemed to be in a happy, welcoming mood. The sub was outstanding! I had many many compliments and Inquiries. I've had 6 foot subs in the past that were good but maybe too bulky Luigis deli sub was humongous and still well-balanced. The meat was very fresh and tasty and the portions were generous. I recommend having the top bun scooped, and adding extra lettuce. They provide a plastic serrated knife so the sub can travel and arice fully intact. Again this was genius. In the past a hoagie would arrive with large pieces individually separated with toothpicks but this approach was better. Having the knife to be able to cut your own slice was fabulous. They also gave me mustard, mayonnaise and Special hoggie Oil and vinegar and knike (as I mentioned)This approach was perfect! Make sure you order at least a day in advance. They have to go to a special bakery for the delicious long bun. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Luigis's deli. One of my friends has already called me to order one for her party. I am delighted to offer five stars and will be orderagain this summer! FYI this deli has a micro-market with a specialty cakes and cookies some frozen food items, spaghetti sauces, gourmet items and simple necessities. If you need a few Pantry staples, and sandwiches catering etc., try Luigis's. It's worth the trip ”
“ Stopped into Luigi's with a friend for sandwiches, we were both starving. What a place! If you imagine your very best idea of a full service italian deli and then add some more love on top, you might come close to the Luigi's experience. I looked at the eggplant and eggplant parm, the house made meatballs, the lasagna, the chicken cutlets and literally could not decide what to get. Everything is so good, they even have old school deli potato salad! The prices are also incredible. Small subs (which are actually super big) are int the $5-6 range and HUGE subs are $8-9. If you are in the area, Luigi's is absolutely worth a special trip. Based on other reviews, I am definitely going to check them out for breakfast sandwiches the next time i'm in the hood. ”
